I have gotten the inside of my phone wet and now the menu and back buttons click on their own, it's really annoying so I just want to disable the buttons and use assistant cursor that is built in the phone.

Not unless your phone is rooted. If it is Rooted then Get a file explorer that can use the root to edit system files. Go to system, usr, keylayout, and open generic.kl with a text editor, find keys 158 and 139 and put a "#" sign in front of both. Save the file and reboot phone. Then go to settings and disable the light. They are now fully disabled.

Additionally, Download this to get on screen buttons (Root required)

My phone is rooted, and I have done this, but nothing happened. Can you suggest a file manager?
I tried using es file manager and root explorer.

Also make sure to enable developer options
Enable Developer options by going into settings > about phone and press on the Build Number 7 times.
