Yup all galaxy S phones are OLED technology, hence sAMOLED..
Super active matrix organic light emitting device/diode

they dont tell us how it is built, but i dont think its built any different, but it will be awesome,, it is "plus" because they made the pixel density higher, but the technology is the same,,,but it will be awesome, the retna screen from iphone was great just on pixel density , imagine our screens with high density and larger screen , its going to be pretty sick

i hear the glaxy tab 2 is gonna have it and thats what i am waiting for
yup same here thats why i didnt get the original tab
I occasionally drift of and fantasize about how great the super amoled displays would be with higher pixel density, and the power savings they say is possible with electro-wetting.
No idea what electro wetting is lol[/url]
Samsung buys Liquavista, dives headfirst into electrowetting displays -- Engadget
It's not super amoled type stuff, but if they could blend the tech supposedly electro wetting produces better light output at about 10% of the power of an LCD. I'm not all that familiar about it, but what read at random makes me think i'd love to see it come to life in a phone. Like I said though, I'm pretty ignorant.
well i dont think it will apply with OLED technology for reasons i can't explain. : X
Thanks for stealing my dreams. I saw samsung bought it and just started dreaming a bit.
You can't have my hope. It's mine and you can't have it.
Ick! E-Ink...
I know, I'm the minority
I'm more in favor of projection keyboards.

Yes I know e-ink is lame, but the efficiency angle makes me a little jealous.
it also makes for larger less crowded keyboard,,, i dont want any keyboard device because they are so uncomfortable, but if an e ink option came out i may consider it
I wish I didn't know about this stuff. I've almost bricked my phone like 5 times. Lol. I wish I could be simple minded like my parents and my redneck brother. They all have androids too. They don't know anything that goes on in their phones. I wish I had that way of thinking. They just see their phone as a phone. I see mine as something to tinker with when i really should be doing college homework. Are there any suggestions to get rid of all of this useless information that's just gonna get me in trouble at some point?
