Is there a way to force the use of one dictionary for Swype and Text?

Just switched over from blackberry--loving this phone so far. Anyway, I noticed that in the conversion process, my custom dictionary from my old phone copied over to the Swype dictionary. My keyboard dictionary is blank except for a few words I added. I noticed however that even while typing the words from the Swype dictionary are accessed but when adding words it goes to the text dictionary. Is there a way to force it to just use one dictionary so I don't have to switch back and forth to see what words are in which dictionary? Any other suggestions?
