Is there a way to make Android 4.3 folders work more like iOS folders when leaving an app?

In iOS I have a News folder containing various news apps: Flipboard, Zite, BBC News, etc.

If I'm in an app, via the folder, and I press the home button to return to the home screen, I return to the folder. So it's easy to then select other "News" apps.

But in Android 4.3, if I press the home button I return directly to the home screen, bypassing the folder I started from. So if I want to see other "News" apps I need to go into the folder again.

A minor thing, but I was wondering if there was a way of making that work the same as in iOS.

Thanks,

I just checked with ADW Ex (third-party launcher) and you can enable an option to keep the folder open upon selecting an app. I confirmed that you can open the folder, select an app, use it then press home and have the folder still open on the home screen. I don't know if it works with stock launchers, such as Touchwiz or Sense, but most third-party launchers should have settings to support this.
