Is there a way to not install Pie?

My Verizon Note 8 downloaded the Pie update but, with all the issues I'm seeing here, I'd rather not install it yet. I've been putting off the update daily but now my phone tells me I can only defer this update 5 more times. Is there any way to prevent this update? Thanks for any help!

If not already done, activate Developer Options by going to Settings>About Phone, tap Build Number 7 times, then enter Developer Options. See if there's an option there to disable system updates.
