is there a way to run a apk through settings

Im trying to bypass google reset protection because some dunce worker has decided resetting his phone all on his own was a good idea. Ive gotten a bypass apk onto the phone but i can't find a way to run the apk. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

I think you can do that if it's connected through ADB with this command:
adb shell monkey -p your.app.package.name -c android.intent.category.LAUNCHER 1
