I did the update to my Samsung Galaxy S6 in April and I have been having problems with my phone not connecting to my computer. I had an IT person come and help. We hooked my phone up to another computer and also used a different USB cable to see if something was wrong with mine. Well, it's not the computer and it's not the cable. It's the phone. I need to fix these problems but without being able to get my pics and songs and other things off my phone to do a factory reset I'm stuck. Is there a way to uninstall this update that says it "failed" but when I go to check for updates it says my phone is up to date on the updates. How can that be if it says the last update failed? I didn't have these problems before the update. I even went to the Verizon store and they told me I needed to call Samsung or do a reset. I don't want to lose everything on my phone. Can you help?

The best way is to download Samsung smart switch and do a full back up for your files ...

Then do the master "Factory" reset .. After all restore all your files ..
Not sure about your apps though ..?

Btw, you are aware that you have to confirm the connection on your phone, right? Just making sure because my friend had the same problem and he simply didn't notice the pop-up on the phone.
