Wasn't there some silly privacy issue that required Google to disable address and phone numbers to become easy click on links in text messages and emails? I've heard it somewhere before. Maybe I was dreaming
The easiest way is to send the address in its own text message--no other characters or words. Use this specific format when sending the address, and it will convert to a link automatically once sent. Commas must be between the street address, city, and state but not between state and zip code although you can put one there if you like.
PS If it doesn't show up as a link, try again, but don't abbreviate (e.g., Pkwy = Parkway, Byp = Bypass, etc.). It's impossible to know which abbreviation will work, so I err on the side of typing the full word for the street type.
