Just purchased the Tab S and curious to know if there is a home screen app dock for the bottom of the screen? Tried to Google, but it's like this tablet doesn't exist anywhere, haha.

The app dock is part of the launcher, and TouchWiz (the Samsung launcher) should have a dock by default. Try Nova launcher https://play. google. com/store/apps/details?id=com.teslacoilsw.launcher (take out the spaces after the first two dots - the site is having a link fit again). Many of us prefer that to TouchWiz for many reasons, including the number of apps you can have on the dock, how many pages of dock you can have, etc. (They're settable by the user.)

Am I missing a way to enable it on Touchwiz? That's what I'm running currently. I wanted to set it up first before I research other launchers. I try to drag the app to the bottomost and nothing is there. I looked in obvious settings but not sure if I missed something.

If one installs the Nova launcher or some other one, does it displace the Samsung NATIVE launcher (touchwiz, is it?) or are they both there, somewhere? As a Blackberry user I've not had a choice of launchers so don't know how they work. Thanks.

You can also try the Google Now launcher, it has an app dock like a phone at the bottom of the screen.
