Is There An App. That Will Let U Use Other Buttons to Wake Up Droid

I love, love, love this phone. I'm coming from a Storm 1. Even with the OS upgrade I still had to do a battery pull about 1x a day. Just got my Droid a few days ago and I'm just blown away.

I hope this isn't an ignorant question. As far as I can tell so far it looks like hitting the power button is the only way to wake up the Droid when it goes into Sleep mode. I'm wondering if anyone knows of an app. out there that would let you be able to hit any button to wake up the Droid?

There has been several mentions to this idea, but nothing yet. One suggestion was a shake awake function, but so far still just a pipe dream. I believe there is a whole other thread made for this question. Perhaps soon..

At first I hated teh button location but after time its growing on me just give it some time.

After coming from the Storm 1, this is a minor, minor annoyance that I can surely live with and more than likely will get used to. I love this phone so darn much!!

There is an app called Lock 2.0 apparently that will allow what you want:

I just installed Lock 2.0 and does exactly that. I can use, for example, the camera button and it wakes the phone up. I love this phone!

What happens when you put the phone in your pocket? Your legs are touch sensitive & yeah. I doubt it.

I don't put my phone in my pocket. I have a phone case for that. Besides you'd still have to slide lock to unlock it.
