I use an old Belkin wireless charging pad and it works great.Any Qi charging mat should work. I'm using a nokia mat from an old nokia phone. In fact I've used the same wireless charger for the past 5 phones (Lumia 920, Galaxy S5, Droid Turbo, S7 Edge & V30). I love a standard that doesn't need to be replaced every year or two.
I know there are many options out there, but what bugs me is why LG has built wireless charging into the V30 but does not produce its own charger, forcing it's users to use third party ones. It's not that hard to build a wireless charger when you can build a phone.
They did for the G3, but sold it to very limited markets. LG is terrible at supporting their phones with accessories so don't ever expect anything from them, but disappointment if you want more than just the phone.I know there are many options out there, but what bugs me is why LG has built wireless charging into the V30 but does not produce its own charger, forcing it's users to use third party ones. When you can buy a generic Qi pad for under $10 (and mine is still working 4 years later), they probably figure that they'll make more money by putting the effort into phones, not charging pads.
Check out this thread if you want to make use of fast wireless charging, very few pads support the new standard in the V30:

After reading that thread, I went with the omars 15w:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077PQT5M3/?tag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU6154079
(Requires a quick charge 3.0 plug).
It reports "fast wireless charging" (or whatever, I forget the exact phrase).
Is the plug that comes with the V30 a quick charge 3.0 one?
Not sure. The omars pad requires a micro USB, so I didn't even try -- I just picked up a QC 3.0 wall adapter.
