Is there an option to have the screen come on when you get a text?

question regarding this one...... i haved my preview message check/on , but is it possible to have a longer preview of the text message on a lock screen mode while hovering your finger on the message just like on the Galaxy S4? just like this one at 0:58 --->

if its the same as the s4, you go into the air view settings, and turn on information preview

from the main screen in the messaging app go to the settings then select the more tab at the top; from the list select preview message and this will give a preview of your message each time you get a text message and if the screen is off it will turn on the screen - hope this helps

thanks infinity12402 its already on. i can only hover and preview the message when I'm on the message app, but when the screen is lock, like what is shown in the video on the S4 it doesn't work.. anyone experiencing this on their Note3?

My message preview is on and yet the screen doesn't turn on when a message comes in. Weird. My air view thing is on as well but only works with the been, not my finger.

well you could try just rebooting the phone. that seems to be a simple fix sometimes.
