Is there any latency in the "drum pad" type apps on the S7/S7 Edge?

I just wanted to know if I can use the S7/S7 Edge to jam with my friends using the drums apps (any good one from the Play Store will do). It would only be useful if there was a very low latency between the touch and the sound response.

Anyone tried this with their phones yet?
