Is there any update on 4.3 for the S3?

An international galaxy s4 is not made for the US, and is unlocked. My s3 was made in Poland for the Rumanian market. IIRC, my s4 is from the UK.

Yep. ... people don't seem to realize that what Samsung does with the international version had nothing to do with the US carriers. Once Sprint gets the update they start testing and modifying, consult with Samsung. ... then release. They don't base what they do on the international version.

The thing is the US usually does not get the latest update until the push is complete for the International version. They update Internationally to the unbranded then start the roll out for the branded phones.
I agree. ....usually. But given the international problems and the fact that Sprint has at least 3 iterations of the update already worked on. ....I would lean towards this instance being the exception to the usual. Plus black Friday is right around the corner and the US is probably the biggest market for the galaxy gear. I personally wouldn't buy one without that update already being installed for at least a few days. ... and working.
I must say though. .... with the new updates to the Galaxy Gear watch. ....I think it would be a useful device, especially during meetings and such when it would be inappropriate to constantly check your phone but the watch actually gave you notifications and would be less conspicuous.
Either way. ..... hope it happens soon and the update is efficient with no buggies lol

Is it official though? It's Samsung UK that made the statement, does that have any bearing on US roll out? The Radios are different in the international and US models, not to mention I think RAM is different too, so potentially it could be issues with the international more than the US versions. I get that Sprint has changed the software numbers, so obviously there have been issues, but could it be rolled out still by Sprint before they fix issues internationally?
