My beef is that there is so much silence about this update it makes one think that sprint doesn't care to have people work on verifying the update because they want to sell new phones to people or there is that big of a communication break that the high ups are thinking new profit and not sustained customers (look at the iPhone gamble that isn't working). We use to get at least a projected quarter for update which for the most part was really nice to at least see they have a goal they want to meet. Most people keep phones longer than a year or the 2 year contract. The economy isn't like it was and no one really get a new phone yearly anymore....My next phone is the nexus again so i can cut out carrier/manufacture bloatware and BS. Either way it will come when its ready and i do care about getting the update because its only a year old phone, but i am definitely switching back to a nexus device...
Well, I think a majority of people who bought the GS3 in the U.S. when it came out aren't even eligible to upgrade until early 2014. So unless you buy your phones off contract which is a minority, getting a new phone isn't an option. Also factor in how many S3's have been sold over the last year and a half? There are a huge number of users out there and one would hope Sprint wants to keep these people happy.
They're already bleeding customers so why **** even more off who care about this kind of stuff.
