is there any way that I can completely remove my device from google account/play ?

I tried play > settings > and unchecked the device but it doesn't work. although in the my Google dashboard last activity is Nov 2013 which is almost 6 months ago , but it is still showing the device ! it's not technically working but it is still showing the device . I read somewhere that is impossible to completely remove the device., if so why ?


this is on Google dashboard, it's even still showing the IMEI of the device !



I tried million times deselecting this device, however soon after a refresh it's back !!

1 Go to Google Play on your computer.
2 Click the Settings gear icon > Settings.
3 Under My Devices, use the "Visibility" checkboxes to select which devices are shown in your menus.
