Is there any way to avoid the screen non-displaying while installation

My Samsung s3 i9300 has been cracked by my little nephew, so I ordered one replace it last week. Everything is OK before re-start my phone after I thought I had finished installation. But it couldn't display after it installed into the frame. But I use my friend's screen replace, my phone looks alright. So there is something wrong with the cell phone replacement repair parts. Can you help me?
