Is there any way to lock call volume or silent settings

My mom somehow always manages to turn her phone to silent unintentionally. This causes a lot of problem and tension when she doesnt answers phone calls. Is there any way to lock the settings so that it can only be changed with some password or something.

Welcome to Android Central! You could try Buttons Remapper, and set the Volume buttons to do nothing. The problem is that if your mother wanted to adjust the volume for other things (like listening to music or watching a video), she wouldn't be able to use the Volume buttons -- she'd have to go into the system settings, which I'm guessing she's not savvy enough to do.
