Is there any way to multitask on your android phone like in samsung devices?

I wonder if there is a way to multitask in your android phone ( mines LG G4 ) like in the samsung devices? e.g. in note 4 and edge, where you can use multiwindow, then minimize it into small floating icons, and then you can open it in floating windows, like those stuffs. The device probably have to be rooted. Thanks for your help.
