Is there any way to turn off the the Pixel Visual Core/HDR for Snapchat on the Pixel 3?

I got the new Pixel 3, and have been using Snapchat. One thing I've noticed is that, after taking a picture Snapchat automatically puts an HDR filter over it.

I don't like how pictures come out on snapchat after all the HDR+. Everything looks over processed, especially for low light selfies.

Any way to disable it?

Thanks

I don't use Snapchat, so...

Open the camera app and tap the More button, then Settings. Tap Advanced and then HDR+ control. Now you should see the option to disable HDR+ at the top of the "viewfinder" screen.

Yeah, unfortunately this method does not work. :(
