Is there a way to automatically turn off notifications for an app after installing it?

Hey. I wanna know if there's a way to turn off notifications for an app after I install it. For example, after I install an app from The Google Play Store, I want notifications to be turned off by default, because most of the time, I forget to turn off notifications for an app right after I install it and I wake up in the middle of the night to the notification sound for an app that I installed. I really need to know if there's any way to make it so that every time I install an app, notifications for it are turned off by default.

Long press that app icon>tap info>notifications turn off

Welcome to Android Central! As far as I know, there's no way to turn off all notifications by default when you install an app. But it should be easy enough to go into the Settings>Apps​ menu, select that app, and turn off the main Notification toggle.
