There is... once you install the SDK and USB drivers, and Odin. Then download the rooted stock rom of choice, place your SG3 in download mode, then open Odin, select your tar file under PDA mode.

Then "click" on Start.

Voila, one click root. lol

It's not that bad. Once you get root, there is a free app in the Play Store called GS3 EZrecovery that will download and flash a custom (or back to stock) recovery for you. No ADB required on your computer.
