Is this a Good Android TV

Its all good considering the updates are not very often, plus I just want to try one of this boxes

If you get one of these boxes...post your thoughts about it. I would be curious to try one, but the common problem among all of them is that an app not made for a tv screen will appear cut off. Also...updates to the newest Android OS are not going to happen often...if at all. That the great thing about the Nexus line is that they get updates straight from Google.

If you are going down this road, I'd look at the Beelink R89, also branded under Ubox. The devs at Freaktab at least are developing ROMs for this one. But the price is in the same price point as Nexus Player, although it has more ports. These were just released over the last month or two, but the specs are impressive RK3288 with the latest Mali T764 GPU.

Remember you will be locked in at Android 4.X

I found one on Amazon, but it got poor reviews. I looked on Ebay and they were all being shipped from China.

Don't know if this thread is still available though...
I thought Tronfy MXIV is a good choice for you. 2G/16G is something support 4K resolution. Don't know have you tried this brand before. But i just thumps up for it.

No lags shooting XBMC on the device.
