My old phone (LG G2) died. I went to AT&T and bought Galaxy Note 5 at full price (spread over a 24-month payment plan).
My family is now on me for essentially spending over $800 (does not matter over how long of a time period).
Question: is Galaxy Note 5 a worthy buy right now?
What I mean is
* Is it financially better to instead return Note 5 and wait for Note 6 (or any of the other above devices)? Rationale behind this is if I am going to pay full price, I might as well get the newest device available and not one that is 7 month old...
* Considering my other various alternatives of iPhone 6s Plus, Galaxy S7, LG G5, LG V10, is Note 5 a worthy contender?
* Are there any comparable phones for under $500? (What are some phones that will cost me under $500 that are comparable to Note 5, if any?)
