I accidentally clicked on the wrong link in chrome on my moto x pure edition smartphone and this came up, I was wondering if this was a scam or do i really have a virus. My moto x has android 6.0, I closed out of chrome by clicking the home button I didn't click on the OK button that cam up with the warning. Thank you for the help

Welcome back! That looks like a popup ad related to the website you were visiting, designed to scare you into installing some "security" app that is most likely malware itself. Tap the Home button to get out of that app, then go to Settings>Apps>All, select Chrome, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Now open Chrome again. Do you still get that popup (assuming you're avoiding that website)?
