Is this an issue with my S-21 or the other end?

Numerous times in the last couple weeks when the wife and I talk via our cell phones (she's on an IPhone) she tells me she is getting some serious echoing and today it happened with a friend of mine. Is there any setting on my 21 that could contribute to this?

Do you have a case on? If so, see if it still happens with the case off.

You on same carrier?
You both using Bluetooth or phone to the ear?

I do have a case but have had it on since I got the phone 6 months ago. My wife and I are on the same carrier and sometimes she is on her Bluetooth in her car and I've been at home. Spoke with an electrician an hour ago and he said it was so bad that he asked to call me back. I had it on speaker on my end and when I turned it off it was still an issue. Not sure on his carrier.
