There is higher than normal activity after all the updates and installs and setup. Quite normal.

You might get that or more without changing or dropping down battery saving mode though. And all Android phones for first 4 days do run hotter.

ok thanks i will reset cache partition. I got the S9 for Christmas and it is my first ever android product as we normally get apple tech. The phone is great so far and has a really nice screen.
