Almost 2 years in my opinion. The mid price point is a hot area for OEMs.Been a great year for phones in the $400 range, just need that Nexus announcement!

I know.... especially with the blue being so temptingThe temptation is hard.
Wow, that sounds really high. To me, it sounds better to just find something to do with that watch lol. I calculated it and it will be a difference of $23 for me between their site and B&H, with the discount included. It's not enough for me to consider paying tax on.Tax would be an ouch for mee @8.9%
Too bad it has that scrolling issue which would drive me nuts. I ended up buying an Idol 4s off Swappa for $90 less so we'll see how that goes. If at some point down the road Huawei fixes the lag on selecting after scrolling, I may pick one up. Not until then though.
I wouldn't call $375 inexpensive... I guess relative to the note 7. Personally, inexpensive would be something like the amazon moto g4 which is $125.For a device that is about $375, it doesn't seem that bad. If you need something inexpensive to get you by for a bit, this might be one to look at.
It really should be a significant improvement over the 5x, given that it is double the price.Good point. I would expect the 8 to at least hold it's own against the 5X.
If you are looking at the honor 8, you should also consider the axon 7 and op3Looking to retire my Note 3 and the Honor 8 has caught my eye, especially after seeing the Note 7's price! Looking forward to more coverage.
I just saw a video that made me think of your post here. It's a heads on comparison between the 2:Too bad it has that scrolling issue which would drive me nuts. For me the most important thing is that the idol 4s runs warm.the reviewer didn't mention what he was doing so I will assume something not intensive. Consistent intensive usage could cause the cpu to significantly throttle,if it is already running warm under normal usageI just saw a video that made me think of your post here.
