Is this pull down notification normal?

Is the lock screen (padlock) icon high lighted? If so this may just be an indicator to tell you your using the standard lock screen.

I'm not sure. But the screen shot I posted is after Im already in my device so to speak. Just swiping down from the home screen or app screen.

I would hazard a guess that some lock has not been unlocked.

What happens if you long-press that notification, or swipe it halfway?

Nothing, unfortunately. I never installed any themes or launchers on it either. I think that notification message on the pull down came about after I setup and started using fingerprints lock. I'll try and disable all lock methods and report back.

Do'h , figured it out. So I swiped it left and a gear icon showed. It was being generated by an app.

Aha! Which app? Do you mean you were able to turn that notification off?

It was carrier app called my mobile from Hello mobile.
