Is your Bixby Button remapping?

Has anybody tried remapping their Bixby button since Samsung announced they were going to disable the ability to do this?
I tried the remapping the bixby button on a demo unit last week and it worked awesome. I used BXactions:

I used BXActions to remap today on my AT&T S8+. No issues here. Might want to try to edit your title if possible.

But all kidding aside, yeah, Samsung should have included the ability to remap the button without the need for a 3rd party solution. Bixby is just meh (maybe with voice it'll get better, but until then, it's just yet another version of Google Now).

Careful with that one if it's in your pocket. Might end up taking out a very warm phone with a very much depleted battery.

Same here I used BX actions and it worked im on Att. I set it to Google now. But i prefer Google Asistant but can't seem to find the way to do it

They removed it, if I'm not mistaken. It was supposed to be a stock option.

There was a software update that is supposed to fix it, but as of this moment in time, that has not occurred and the remapping works with the app.

Just installed on my sprint s8 plus and it works perfectly. I like that I can have it do 3 things with different pushes. Set it up for single press camera, double press flashlight and long press settings.

They did block the remap but I don't believe the update has been pushed to all devices. And I recapped it to Google Now and Snapchat (when long pressed)

This app is brilliant! For now I decided on single press for notification shade, double brings up Snapchat and long press toggles the flashlight. I may switch to something else for the single press when I think of something better, but I'm digging this a lot. Thanks to all!

Ya I thought about that as well. If I start to see a problem I will change it.

I can't get the double press or long press to work, my single press works just fine. Am I doing something wrong?

At least for me I can remain the button. One click Google now, Theo clicks for flash and the for do not disturb but I also have a nagging notification telling me to update.

I shall rebel for now .

I have the T-Mobile latest update and it doesn't work. So if you want this functionality never update

Yeah same here. Latest update now bixby doesn't open/work.

For the people who haven't got the update to disable. Try the following app. I been using it since the note 7 recall and it's prevented my note from being shut down by the update. It also stops the annoying notifications.
