Is your phone your only computer?

For me.. I tend to use my BlackBerry Key² like 95% of the time for anything from communication, social networking to shopping, banking etc..

The other 5% that I use a pc.. 95% of that time is when at work for obvious reasons. At home I haven't even used my tablet in like 2 months. the phone has replaced it.

Ditto. Along with a media PC.

I'd say that my time on my phone and PC is probably pretty balanced.

I only use the computer to watch TV, the rest I use my phone to. Haven't used the computer for many years now. Okay, the last phones I had was tablets that I could use as a phone and now I have a phone with 6.4 inch screen.

A lot has been said about changing consumer habits and the slowing sales of computers today. For many people a cell phone can totally take the place of having a full sized Windows or Apple desktop or laptop machine. Has your cell phone become your only computer?

I sometimes use my phone to do tasks I used to do on my laptop but would never use it as a complete replacement

1. Dual-boot gaming laptop for games (duh!), all the spam email, occasional spreadsheets and serious web searches
2. Nexus 7 (2013) for all my Netflix, Amazon videos and various book reading apps (Kindle, Nook, Google Books, Overdrive), plus serious YouTube viewing
3. Pixel 2 XL for all calls (doh!), Gmail, SMS/MMS, WhatsApp, Tapatalk & Hermit for all tech reading, and occasional YouTube viewing. All music streaming takes place here too. Also for work - navigation, mileage tracking, route planning, inventory tracking, etc

1. Dual-boot (Windows 10/Ubuntu 18.04). On this almost all of the day.

2. Pixel 2. For calls, texts, games when I'm not home (like at a doctopr's office), paying at Walmart, alarms, timer.

3-about 9. Various laptops, some still on XP, some on other versions of Windows. (I don't throw out working laptops.)

Here's how I use my devices:

I office from my home and I'm on my main Windows 10 Pro computer the majority of the time for productivity.

I use my Microsoft Surface Pro sitting beside my XPS 15 as I like having two computers doing different tasks working side-by-side. For me this is vital for my productivity.

I use my small, light Microsoft Go when I do things like go out to eat in order to have a decent size screen, a real keyboard, and access to such things as this forum while on the go. It only weighs a pound and I love this little thing. It's just so dang cute!

And of course I always have my Pixel 2 XL with me. While I have access to my other computers my phone becomes just a phone. When I don't have my other computers with me, my Pixel 2 XL becomes a pocket computer that just happens to have a phone in it.

The phone is in front of me all day as I drive a big truck. I do not game on it...but do everything else possible until I get home(Not while I am driving...tho it is the feed for the radio)...

Building PC's has been a hobby since the 90's so all gaming is done on either a rig with a 1080TI or a GTX 970 , one with a 27" 4K monitor the other out to a 65" (When idle they fold proteins for Team 32 hence my avatar)

I prefer all browsing, forum reading, Banking, and purchases(Amazon) on a Laptop so until it dies it is a Macbook air circa 2012. A Pixelbook is in the future because the screen on the air is so low res.

I do own a number of tablets, but have always preferred something with a nicer keyboard.

I use my phone for practically everything unless it's going to involve a lot of typing or if I need/want to use a bigger screen. In those cases I have a Acer R13 Chromebook that I picked up on prime day. (Love it by the way. WAY better picture than many of the laptops that are currently available.)

Rough usage would be about 40% Pixel 2, 30% Desktop and 30% IPAD. Of course that can change depending on the situation. On our recent vacation it was 90% Pixel 2 and 10% IPAD

I dont have a computer & use my phone for EVERYTHING. Sometimes I wish I had a keyboard to type with since I can only type with 1 finger & envy those who type with both thumbs. Am I missing out?

I have a pixel 2, ipad air2 and pixelbook. My ipad is used for one game pretty much exclusively although I do watch the odd video on it. My phone is used the most but I prefer my Pixelbook. I like having a keyboard, big screen, and I can't stand a lot of mobile sites. They get really frustrating.

I work from home so use my laptop a lot. If I didn’t work from home, there are a few things I’d still prefer to use my laptop for that are annoying on mobile, but I’d probably only use it a couple times a week. For almost everything else I use my iPad Pro. Since I am home, it’s just much better for me doing other stuff on a larger screen than a phone. My phone is used for messaging and calls through the day, but its biggest use is for when I’m out of the house.

Many keyboards have a swiping option now for input. If you haven't tried it, you should. It's much quicker than regular typing, even two thumb typing.

There IS a smallish, portable, foldable bluetooth keyboard available ... don't remember the name or price (but it's not much) ... that you can get from Amazon to connect to your phone to type with. Swipe typing on a Swiftkey keyboard on your phone, however, is probably your best bet.
