Is your smartphone more than what you need?

So my smartphone journey continues. Had to return the Motor G4 Plus because it just failed on me. I was very tempted to have the attitude that its because it was a cheaper device and that if I had gone low end that it wouldn't have happened. But I resisted. Returned it back to BestBuy. They didn't have another one to give me so I picked up the LG Phoenix 2. Its an even cheaper phone. Priced at just $99. Saved myself $200 in the process. This phone has Android Pay. Just no fingerprint scanner. 720p screen, no fast charging, and only 1.5 GB of RAM. I have had it for the weekend only. I will say that the 8MP camera is actually really good. so for now I'm continuing on with my journey of budget Android smartphones. I will see if it changes the way I use my phone or if my productivity dips. I will say one thing that surprises me is that i downloaded my favorite game Real Racing 3 and it ran more smoothly than it did on my Note 7. Mortal Kombat however did not play well at all and it was flawless on my Note 7. Maybe one of the brilliant forum members can explain how this can be.
