Issue with new X

I got a new X today to hold me over until the thunderbolt comes out. Nothing is updating. When I put in my account info none of the backups are coming in from the apps.

When I go to the market place and download an app like google voice or ANY app, it does not download.

I did a system restart and put it back to factory, but same thing

Anyone see this?

Are you using WiFi? If so, you may be losing your connection?

New info....

So If i download an app never downloaded before it goes fine... but when i download something that i used to have when i pull it up it says Starting download... but nothing happens, so the backup is somehow messing things up when it is not restoring old settings

Try this: Go to Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage Applications. Find the Market app. Force Stop, Clear Cache & Data. Back out, and reboot. Try going into Market again and see if problem is resolved.

Didnt work, but what i did notice is there is a backup assistant 1.0 and 2.2 installed... would not allow me to uninstall 1.0 could this be the issue?
