SMS Delivery Reports - where can I see it on the Android Messages app on the Pixel 3?

Please find below the screenshots. I have the sms delivery reports enabled. These text messages were sent to somebody on my Verizon family plan. IS anybody else facing this issue?

Path to enable it - Settings->Advanced->get SMS Delivery reports

Re: SMS Delivery Reports not working on Android Messages app - Pixel 3

Why was my post moved here? I'm not talking about RCS. Did the Mods move it?

Delivery reports are part of RCS. You won't get delivery reports during normal SMS functions.

Nope, they are not. I have been getting delivery reports for years on SMS.

May have been the app you were using then that was doing it.

Either way -- I can restore your thread if you want.

any info on this? having same problem

Guess I'm not sure what the problem is. Although I normally use Message+ (the Verizon app, which also supports this feature) I just checked it using the stock Android Messages application and the delivery report worked as expected (text below the message changed from Sent to Delivered). This happened to be a Verizon <> Verizon SMS. (I guess most people that I normally communicate with are on Verizon, so perhaps that's not much help.)
