Issue with Screen Saver?

I like having the screen saver on the clock. On there phones with one screen buttons the buttons would disappear leaving black with just the clock.
With the pixel the home and back button stay on screen. Possible bug? Wouldn't that eventually become screen burn in?

Possibly, but they don't stay on for me in screensaver. That holds true for both the Clock and Timely apps when running in screensaver.
