Well I will figure by the lack of comments on the matter that I am the only one who even though I read the instructions and watched th video. I somehow still screwed up on the Install with the domeglass and now I feel like I am going to push my thumb through the phone everytime you need to use fingerprint. So evidently after the first two 15 seconds for curing you are supposed press firmly down on fingerprint area to help. I'm sure it all works fine for you but it looks like I wasted the money on this one.

So sorry to hear that, maybe you can mail the guys and they send you a new one? Because the reason you buy this version is because you want fingerprint working.

I'll be ordering a Whitestone Dome Glass Screen Protector for my Note 10+ 5G and always look at the tutorials before fitting.

On the official Tutorials and YouTube reviews and fitting it does show and explain that a person needs to push down onto the fingerprint area before carrying out a 2nd curing.

If it's any consolation I have a Tozo tempered protector and it has a clear circle around the finger print. Mine refuses to work. I don't want to take it off to check. Glad to know it isn't a bad phone.

Just confirmed, I took the tempered protector off and it works fine with just the screen.

I'm hoping we see posts from people who have fitted a Whitestone Dome on their Note 10 phones and the fps is working as it should.

I'm glad for those of you who properly installed your Whitestone screen protectors and are enjoying them, but that seems to be waaaay to much work for a maybe.. Expensive too!

Who has successfully installed theirs and how is it cooperating with your cases? Does it work good with the fps or nah?

There is a setting under display for screen protector (same one found in the S10/10+ devices) that allows you to get a better reading through it, but you have to retrain the fps to scan through the glass protector

Yep I didn't look at other videos, and the one that comes up from scanning the QR code in the instructions doesn't mention pressing down, I think they thought that the new installation guide they included would do the trick. I am most likely just going to remove and try again, whitestone makes the best protector, everything else works fine with the screen.

So we do have to press down on the fingerprint area after the first curing? In the video linked on Whitestone's page it doesn't mention that step, but on another video someone did he did that step. He also did the curing for more time than the other video, so I'm confused which one I should follow.

I haven't installed it yet on my Note, but on the S10, following that extra step was very important to getting the fingerprint sensor to work. I will use the included screen protector for a while and then switch once this one gets scratched up.

Press on the first curing.

It won't harm and it'll hopefully stop you having to RIP off an expensive protector.

I bought a cheap tempered glass protector off amazon with the tint on it for security. Could not get the fingerprint to work for anything. I couldn't even pull down the notification menu from the top. I wish I knew about the setting under display yesterday but I took it off and chucked it. Was considering the whitestone but I need to know it works before I invest. Right now im naked with a case.

Cool, I have it on my Note 9 and it did well up until a month ago when the adhesive started to dry out and spread in the corners. I'll definitely get it again for this one. Thanks for the info.

Your welcome, once you register the screen protector on white stone page , it's free lifetime replacement with 9.95 shipping charge.

All the issues I'm reading about the FPS not working with the Whitestone is starting to scare me and make me want to return it.

why cant people just leave the factory fitted screen protector on...its really good and saves the screen from scratches and u dont even realize it's on...I used my Note 9 for nearly a year naked...tempered glass sometimes dont fit properly and starts chipping
