Issue with unwanted vibrations on Codename Android 1.6.0

I just updated to codename android 1.6.0 and I have this seriously annoying issue where my nexus vibrates everytime I touch an input field.

I have gone through the settings and turned all 'touch sounds' and 'Vibrate on touch' off but it doesn't seem to quell the vibrations. The ONLY time it doesn't vibrate is when I mute the ringtone volume.

Any ideas? :'(

fixed: Just did a complete restart and it is all good now. Weird.
