I only cleared cache before flash.

Clean installs should be done for any new ROM. Wipe cache, dalvik, and factory reset.

You should clear them both before and after flash or you'll have lag every time if you don't it leaves remnants of your old o.s still try it again clearing both caches that should really speed it up I clear my caches regularly every few days anyways it doesn't hurt anything just speeds things up...
