Issues with Bluetooth and/or Jawbone Icon headset on Nexus

I'm moving in to my new Nexus and it's generally going pretty well. However, one thing is pretty annoying: my Jawbone Icon, which was working fine with my Droid X. Not sure if it's a bluetooth issue, a bluetooth-with-this-headset issue, or what.

Issue #1: A2DP/music streaming sound just plain isn't working. The phone thinks it is, "media audio" is checked along with "phone audio" in the bluetooth profile for it, however, when I play Pandora, for instance, I get no sound. If I turn off the headset, I get sound right away from the phone, so the phone's generally playing music.

Issue #2: With "media audio" enabled, the volume switches on the phone do not change the headset's volume level, even during a call. If I turn off music profile, then it works.

Issue #3: I'm getting clicks through the Jawbone during a call, like it's changing frequencies or something, I never had this on the Droid X.

In an effort to make it work, I also updated to the most recent software from mytalk.jawbone.com (yes, including the A2DP app, though it was already installed) and now it seems to have screwed up the noise cancelling as well - people were able to clearly hear my dogs bark (whereas before that was somewhat muted).

AAAARGH. Anyone else have a Jawbone that works, or recommendations of a BT headset that DOES work well with the Nexus?

Thanks!

Well, i've fixed items #1 and #2 (and the noise cancelling problem) by doing a factory reset of the headset. To do this (in case this happens to anyone else), I followed the instructions I found on jawbone.com's forums: To reset your ICON please start with the charger removed from any power source and connect the Jawbone to the micro UPS charging adapter. Next, please hold the Talk button while connecting the charger to a power source (either a good wall ourlet or a USB port into a computer with good power). Once the charger is fully connected to the power source release the Talk button. You should see the red light flash on and then continue to glow.

I've heard a couple clicks so far this morning, I can't yet tell if it's better or not. Crossing fingers...

I have a jawbone icon and I can't get it to pair with my Galaxy Nexus. My phone can't find it at all. It worked instantly on my Droid X, but no luck so far with the Galaxy Nexus. Any ideas anyone (tried resetting bt headset).

I was able to successfully pair my jawbone icon and a jabra clipper. Both linked up with no: issues and sound from calls and music is working fine for me through both bt headsets.

I set my galaxy nexus to be discoverable and try searching on my jawbone icon, but it never finds anything. Additionally, I try searching from my phone and it can't find by bt headset (not sure if it should be able to). My phone can, however, find other bt devices so it makes me think it's not an issue with the phone.

I also did experience the exact same problem with my Bluetooth car audio (Kenwood KDC-BT945U) and my Bluetooth Headset (Jabra BT530). I couldn't hear any audio streaming thru Bluetooth A2DP yesterday. Somehow, however, it worked just fine after I rebooted my phone. I am still not sure if the rebooting the phone was the cure or not. You could try since it wouldn't hurt, at least. :)

Hi there,
I am new to the forums, and was in the middle of posting my own thread on a very similar issue when the above thread was suggested to me.
My headset is the LG Tone HSB700. This headset worked like a champ for about four hours. Streamed all audio I asked of it, and made voice dialed phone calls.... no problems whatsoever.... and then it started. Now the podcasts I listen to won't stream through the headset, the navigation won't stream through the headset, basicly any audio asked wont stream.... and once in a while, the person on the listening end of my phone calls won't be able to hear me. I am trying my best to stay calm and cool because I REALLY like this headset. It sounds as if this may be a Nexus end problem?

I have these, make sure you get an equalizer.

Go to Settings, bluetooth, the select the settings icon to the right of the LG Headphones. Make sure they're all checked. Restart your phone if it doesn't work and do this again.
