Issues with my Note 5 and Zenwatch

Anyone have any issues with receiving text message notifications on the zen watch, I get notifications for everything else. I'm not sure if it has something to do with the samsung messaging app or if its something else. I checked all of my notification settings on my phone and everything checks out. When I was using my g3 I had no problems at all. Any help out would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have a zenwatch, I have a gear. But I've noticed even that has notification issues every now and then, and its a samsung product too.
