Issues with the calendars syncing

Maybe I'm not understanding it correctly, but I'm having some issues with how the calendars import. After syncing, I have options to show my gmail calendar, my outlook calendar, as well as all the sub-categories of my outlook calendar (different categories, color coded).

Initially, all of those calendars synced. Now, whenever I sync anymore, it syncs the gmail and the outlook (general) but none of the color coded sub-categories. The issue I have is that I prefer to use the color codings with my outlook calendar - not solely one color, as occurs with the overall outlook calendar.

It's confusing to explain, but if you follow what I'm trying to talk about - do you have issues with this as well? Is there some way in settings to sync the outlook categories, or am I stuck just seeing the outlook calendar all in one category/color?

I'm not getting one of my subscribed calendars to sync either. The ones I added before I got my Hero work fine, but the one I added after doesn't seem to want to?

Bumping this to see if there is anymore information about syncing the outlook sub-categories to the Hero. Thinking of getting one, but would need to see my different outlook categories.....

Are these remote calendars? If so, I noticed a horrendous (almost half day) lag between when I added an appointment to a remote (CalDAV) calendar and when it appeared on the phone.

I was subscribed to the CalDAV share via Google Calendar. This lag appeared on other phones as well, so I think it has more to do with the remote share being updated by Google / Exchange / whatever.

I was pulling my hair out trying to get one of my shared google calendars to work. What finally did the trick was unfortunately a factory reset. After that, the shared calendar magically appeared and everything is fine.

Just to clarify, in calendar--->menu--->--->calendars I could see my calendar, holidays, weather, outlook, my calendar, but not the shared calendar I wanted in there.
