Issues with Wifi?

[AC Question]

Good afternoon everyone,

I'm currently using a Samsung Galaxy SIII, I know...old. My wifi just stopped working today for no reason. I've tried; restarting router, taking battery out of the phone, and I just did a factory reset of my phone. When I press the Wi-Fi button, it does a dark green for about 10 seconds like it does before connecting, then just goes back to shut off. I have no idea how to fix this issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! Does this happen with any wi-fi network, or just yours? Does this happen in Safe Mode as well? How to boot the Galaxy S3 into Safe mode?

My internet works in safe mode.

And it's with all wi-fi networks...what do I do from here?

If your wi-fi works in Safe Mode, then something you installed is interfering. You may have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem goes away.
