At any rate, if the pick up happened today - and I don't get until Monday - that is 5 days folks, count 'em,,, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (by 4:30 PM)..which in reality could count as 3 business days...

It was all a ploy to save on the shipping by Verizon and still meet the "by" deadline...

I rarely even respond in non-factual ways, but I have to say, just because something isn't the way we want doesn't mean it is a ploy. I hardly think there was a cigar smoke filled room full of executives at VZW rubbing their hands together saying, "and then, we will launch around a time that allows us to send pre-orders when shipping will be affected by both a holiday and a weekend! Muahahaha!"

or you were just kidding - either way I hope you see I'm not trying to be a jerk, just pointing a thought out with some fun.

I pre-ordered on 6/7. I haven't gotten an e-mail yet and on the website it still says the order is processed and expected ship date of 7/9. Not too worried. As long as I get my phone.

That's why I'm wondering why ETA is the 9th... If the order was picked up today 2 days should be Friday (not counting today). I would love for it to show up on Friday but since I don't really have an option Monday will have to do if that's what happens... Since we're both showing the same status and are in the same geographical area I would assume that whatever happens for one of us will happen for both...I'm in Somerville by the way.

this is standard 2 day shipping 'talk' for all businesses. It counts business days, not holiday and weekends. pickup today does not mean it's in transit, and in fact doesn't mean Fedex physically has the phones, which I was told last night the shipping cutoff was 4:30pm and no shipping today. So Thursday to Monday IS 2 shipping days.

Ordered 6/13, white, 32gb. Last night around 11p, my status said "ship by 7/9" like it has been the past few weeks. Woke up to a "shipment sent" email and tracking number this morning. The shipment info says it was sent 7/3.

Oh yeah, and my shipment is to So. Cali. Ohhh weeeee.....

Exactly. Nice to have it sooner, but, actually, it will be here exactly when Verizon promised from the moment I ordered it.

Woke up to a very pleasant email "Your Order Has Shipped" . Shipped out 7/3/ (and my account was hit last night). Still too early to find info in FedEd tracking system but should expect to get it tomorrow! Sad part is that I just pulled the trigger on buying 4 cases and screen protectors that won't arrive until 7/10 :-(. I guess I have to grab a case from T-mob since they seem to be the ONLY carrier with cases! I ordered 32g white online on 6/13

I got tracking number today at exactly 8:30 am after receiving a your item is on hold email yesterday meaning I had to call because my credit card failed for whatever reason. Tracking number still has no tracking info since it barely shipped. I ordered 6/6 at 7:20 am Pacific time 32 GB white shipping to Ventura California

I ordered mine in on 6/6/12, 7:30pm, Amex was charged yesterday 7/3/12 and the got the "Your order has shipped" email at 8:27am today..to early to get the FEDEX details..hopefully Thursday or Friday delivery to So Cal.

Purchased a few Cruzerlite cases from Amazon (buy two get one free), will be here Saturday. Good Times!

Well in another thread someone ordered on the 13th and it has shipped. Idk maybe Verizon is just screwing up big time
