It has shipped!!!!!!

So just found something funny. I know there has been lots of speculation as to the shipping method. Some overnight others two day. I think they picked the shipping method for these last resort ijd of shipments that would get it there by the day they said it would. I live in Idaho and had a July 10th date as I ordered on the 16th. Mine was overnighted to me from the warehouse to make sure it got here by the 10th.

I know that doesn't work for all orders as some went out way ahead of schedule but for this batch it seems to fit.

Those who were promised it by the 11th will low and behold get it on wed where as others who's shipped the same day were overnighted to make sure they came in by the 10th when they were promised.

Just found that interesting.

Out of curiosity, those of you with tracking numbers, are you getting them only via email or are they showing up on the website when you input your order number?

Verizon apparently has a wrong email address on file and says that any correspondence will go to that email, rather than the one I gave when I placed the order (where they sent the initial order confirmation to.)

I ordered mine on 6/27. Funny thing is, I received tracking number today (Sunday) stating that it'll be here Tuesday by 3pm but it says that it's overnight. Could I possibly be getting mine tomorrow? I doubt it because today is Sunday, I didn't think FedEx picked up or worked on shipments on Sunday's yet the package went from Verizon in TN to he FedEx facility with in a few hours.

Makes sense to me. Mine was mailed overnight Saturday and I am getting it on Monday. Yeah, I received my tracking info a day earlier than you, but it didn't actually move until tonight. Here's hoping for you. :)

My phone is on FedEx vehicle for delivery. Yay! Hopefully it comes before I go to work. I don't want it laying around in the sun.

Mine shipped ?indirect signature required? meaning someone either has to sign for it at home, or a neighbor, or you leave a door tag authorizing them to leave it, so they probably won?t leave it there if you?re gone unless you tell them to. I printed off my tracking slip and wrote ?ok to leave package? and signed it and taped it to my door. I live in a quiet townhouse neighborhood with my ?front? door tucked away around the side of the house, so usually feel comfortable with packages being left when I?m gone. In this case I left a storage box chained to a post with an open padlock on the lid, asking FedEx to put it in the box and lock it? hopefully they will. It is supposed to be 85 and overcast today, I tested the box yesterday by leaving a digital thermometer in it under the same conditions all afternoon, and the temp was 101 at the time I would get home from work. So I figure that?s ok, I?ll let it cool to room temp before I open it/turn it on. My package is ?on vehicle for delivery? so needless to say I have bookmarked my tracking page and will be checking it every 5 minutes? even though I know FedEx usually doesn?t hit my neighborhood until around 3pm.

Don't forget that unless you left a door tag with explicit instructions to leave the package, they will NOT be leaving it on your doorstep since it requires a signature or door tag.

Ordered one blue, one white, both 16gb on 6/20. Original ship by date of 7/10. Credit card was charged on 7/7, shipping email yesterday. Fed Ex shows pick up this morning with a delivery on 7/11. I was hoping for overnight, but ended up with 2 day.

I'm super anxious to have my phone in my hands, but I really can't complain. But I can whine......I want my PHONE!!!!!

Yeah I am in a safe neighborhood too. I could have him leave it between the door and storm door. I think its a small enough package that it would fit. Its actually cooler today than it has been lately so I think I might be ok.

I just tracked it and it says it left West Chester, PA at 6am this morning. I'm about 4 hours max north of there. I may get it tomorrow even though it says delivery on 7/11 by 7pm.

Just got a text from my wife, mine is sitting at home waiting for me to get off of work! It's going to be a long 5 hours...

Holy hell, you are thorough! Did you remember to put water protection on the box in case a rainstorm hits the area? You dont want to come home to a box filled with water and a soggy phone :p

After some initial Verizon/CC issues that were resolved this morning by both parties, I just got the shipment email. Tomorrow is the big day. :D My wife and I are both excited to get the phones.

Working from home today. ;) Just want to make sure my GSIII makes it home safely. lol

32GB Blue ordered in-store on 6/27, picked up by FedEx (West Chester PA) for delivery 7-11 by 7pm.

So, it is less than 3 hours away from me, but I gotta wait 2 days. Gotta love it!
