I had posted earlier that an unfortunate accident had shattered my Z2's screen and rendered it utterly useless. Even Sony said too bad.
Well I decided to try the repair myself. I got a new screen and digitizer as well as replacement adhesives and set to work.
It took me about 2 hours as I'd never taken apart a phone, so I was being cautious.
The result...my Z2 lives! ! It's working perfectly with no sign it had ever seen damage! It's now charging merrily and I'm posting hopefully for the final time on my trusty back up, my galaxy s2.
