It's been more than a month

Here... I just snapped a picture to show you the difference... It's not even 11 o'clock at night and I am already home, chillin' with the hubby and cats, even though it's my birthday 52 today... You, are probably at the club! Lol! Seriously though, I'd guess many of us "seasoned" folks are/were in some kind of tech field... U can't un-geek a geek... Could use the LG music right now.

Happy Belated Birthday!!

I'm really liking it so far. I don't mind the screen nearly as much anymore unless I was just looking at my s7e. I love having the ir blaster back, and I'm currently waiting on my spare battery kit to arrive which means I'll never have to plug the phone in again.

My only major complaint is that the camera is almost incapable of catching pictures of my young kids, especially in less than ideal lighting, and I'm still sitting on the September security update. I'm hoping we get one big security/camera update here soon. Oh and the performance is probably the single greatest feature of this phone. It still flies which I love coming from the s7e (I missed out on the Samsung nougat beta so I haven't seen the performance tweaks that others have seen on that phone yet.)

I just got th Gear S3 Frontier (TMO) and it pairs up great with the V20 AND its a fantastic standalone device. The build quality is first class. Samsung Pay works so smoothly it's almost uncanny.

Awesome, that is the watch I want. It's between the Classic and Frontier for me.

Anyone here have the unlocked US version? Someone said There IS wifi calling on it but that it is hidden and they were able to find it by using a search app like quickshort cut.

If you want the standalone capabilities, you'll have to go with the Frontier LTE. I think it's well worth the extra cost because it allows me to leave my phone at home when I don't really need it. The voice quality is excellent.

Liking mine for the most part. Still wondering if some chronic issues are T-Mobile carrier bloatware related or Android like wifi calling making calls but getting about 45% of the time or much more some days the persistient notification for "Wifi calling error" we have 2 higher end routers a Netgear Nighthawk and the newest Cellspot T-mobile router with 4 antennas & 3 respectively both are extreemely reliable and powerful. The Nighthawk can reach unobstructed most the way down the block on farthest reaching frequency. My son worked for Cox largest contractor here & was a Technician for over a year and tested many out and was very well versed on the best. Anyway this morning after charging overnight V20 was room temp very cold so I was suspicious. Checked data with speedtest app by V-speed.eu there was no connectivity to server. My data monitor app Internet Speed Meter Light was showing mere 9-11Bps avg of 6bps (barely anything) on our usually extreemely reliable service 15Mbps connection and wifi calling notification said working (weird, as normall is notice saying not working but works anyway & saw same problem with S5 previous phone running 6.1.1 Marshmallow). Only had 1 notification via mobile carrier text (mobile calling and 4G or less data is extreemely weak and intermittent here unless I walk out to middle of the street but should have had several notifications. Both routers same thing on all 4 channels. Called Cox & auto system reset routers, no help, then live person who did not get it did same thing (knew it would not). Unplugged Cox box for 30 seconds, no help. Now this was before anyone else was up and on wifi connection only did not get far as to check hardwired PC. So restarted my V20 and BAM normal data & notifications pouring in. BTW I checked data block setting in pulldown setting menu and airplane mode they were off and toggled data block on & off. Not convinced its T-Mobile bloatware or Android or other firmware for wifi/ bluetooth radio or ANT but this problem I have seen all the way back to the now lowly S2 and it happens most frequently after deep sleep longer no use periods.
FYI,
The Vpn I use most, Opera Max was off overnight and still is. Ocasionally it does block carrirer default app texts. Voip app ones it does not affect.

I am really enjoying mine. I forgot though that the stock launcher really didn't do it for me. I had always wanted to try Google now launcher. I'm running the Google now launcher and the phone is great.

I still miss when my Galaxy Note 2 would roll from the last screen to the first screen.... Miss that feature!

I returned it within 3 weeks. Too much 'missing', too 'bland' in terms of looks and experience. Yes, it was fast. Yes, the wide angle camera was fun to play with for a few days (but picture quality is still crap compared to others unless you're in manual mode). So yup, had to go back to the S7 Edge. I wanted to try the Pixel, but the lack of waterproofing and no Samsung Pay were keeping me at bay... when they came out with the Verizon 'exclusive' (I'm on T-Mobile's JOD, I'm not buying outright), then that killed the Pixel for me, sadly.

Buy it directly from the Google store online. They have installment plans like your carrier would.

Paid is definitely worth it.
So very true. Out of the launchers I've tried, Go Launcher, Next 3D, Apex, Nova, and Nova Prime, Nova Prime is the one I've settled upon. It's fast and flexible and has everything I need and more. Definitely worth the negligible cost.
