-have manual camera settings
-fix battery like pre 8.1 days
-hide navigation bars
-be able to go forward on chrome browser without having to click on the three circles

There's definitely an issue. My SG3 Frontier when paired prevents my car's speakerphone system from pairing. The problem seems to occur when you have two devices that take phone calls. Does your watch take calls? When I go into BT settings and turn off the SG3's access to phone calls then the phone pairs with the car.

That's the issue I have. With the S7 I could have both watch and car BT paired and able to answer calls, the car BT would connect automatically even when the watch was connected. Now I have to make sure I disconnect from the watch and connect to car BT. It's a minor inconvenience but one I didn't have to deal with before. Maybe because watch and phone are Samsung they played nicer together, but at the end of the day it's how BT connections are managed.

Happy New Year! Hopefully the Googlers have been working on a few tweaks for the imminent January patch!

Fix black crush and hide navigation bars completely.

What's black crush?

Yes, wish we could hide the bottom nav bar!

I'm hoping for more intelligent ways for Google Home and the Assistant on the phone to play nice when both devices are in the same room as me.

That, and flickering on the camera when under certain lights.

So does GSam but it would be nice if you didn't need an external app

It would be nice of course. Although to me it depends on the icon shape. If Android just does the battery percentage number, I wouldn't like it. If you have a weather app with the temperature on your notification bar they look too much alike. I prefer the number inside a circle approach of GSAM and Accubattery as it's easy to differentiate between temp and battery.

I think the number inside a circle approach was an Android thing years back, but they abandoned it for just a number AFAIK

Black crushing is the loss of details in black and certain colours or parts or where light transitions to black or dark colours. It just goes all blocky or blotchy. Just turns into black nothing. Mainly in videos I see it. At night and dark rooms. Once you notice it you cannot unsee it lol.

While I agree that they should fix the update button to work as they planned. I'm OK with the updates rolling out on they are currently being released.
