Perhaps. However, folks say the screen is much better, there's no lag, and that it just seems higher quality. I want to see if I agree with that after having used it for a while. I think the return fee is only $35 so it's not too much.

I would agree with what you said. Especially the lag part and feel of the phone. Keep in mind I only had the s4 for a week. This is one is on "rental" on my business account for 30 days and then I will decide whether or not to keep our go back to s4 lol. I would like to hear your thoughts so bad down to your rental store!

I have a COWON C2 with a micro 64GB SD card loaded with FLAC music. The Wolfson DAC makes sound quality amazing. I've never had trouble with my 64 bit computer.

I'm not saying you shouldn't use your phone, but sound quality is much better in the Cowon. Though, the new LG G2 may have a quality DAC, not sure what its but its promising.

I can vouch for the sound quality.
I had a O2 that I really miss (Something fell on it & killed it).
The interface was irritating and the resistive screen was very old school but you're definitely right about the sound quality.

Personally, I dont see whats so bad about Sense 5. Especiaally since the VZW version ships with the latest version of android where HTC has addressed some issues with Sense. I like it alot better than the cluttered and confusing Touchwiz. The S4's menu's look like a juumbled mess to me when comparing it the One.

Get the phone from bestbuy and no restocking fee. I do all my phone test drives from there. lol

I know the Otterbox is not an attractive case, nor is it meant to be. I know what the One looks like already so won't need to see its perceived physical attributes everytime I use the device. Protection is infinitely more important to me, with all my mobile devices. Good thing there's something for everyone.

I bought a Lumia 928 a few months ago not knowing if this phone (The ONE) was going to ever come to VZW. Now that it's out - I have just listed it on Ebay and going to pick one up next week at the store. Windows phone is pretty slick, but still not ready for prime time. I wanted to love it, but with the HTC One coming out for Verizon, there is no contest.

I use Nova w/ the Nox theme and widget locker to cover Sense. No root necessary. Best phone I've ever owned.
