I've got a Nexus 6P here, lets get some questions going!

Thanks for the answers so far, Russell. I have a fairly broad question though. I'm in a quandary right now because I have a 6p on order to be delivered 1st of Nov, and I'm currently holding a Moto XPE which has been fabulous so far. However, I have '2 days' left on my 14-day return period. I have to make a decision in 48 hours whether to send back the XPE in favor of the 6p.

So my extremely broad question is.... Shall I keep the XPE, or send it back because the 6p is all-that and a bag of chips?

With Smart Unlock, you can disable it until you do a PIN/pattern/password unlock by long-pressing the icon at the bottom-center of the lock screen. Can you do this with fingerprint unlock?

I'm asking because you can be compelled to use your fingerprint to unlock a device, but having to use your knowledge to unlock a device (again, PIN/pattern/password) is protected by the Fifth Amendment, courts have found.

I see there is a notification light at the top left of the phone. Does this work right out of the box or does it need to be tinkered with to get it to work? This was one of my favorite features on the Nexus 5 because i was able to set colors for different apps and know when i got a message without taking it out of my case.

You just go to Sounds and Notifications in settings and enable it. Simple one button switch.

What do the screen edges feel like? Are they sharp, or do they have a 2.5D type feel like the Moto X Pure and Galaxy S6?

How is the headset (no ear buds, just holding the phone up to your ear) volume during calls? My Nexus 5 is very low, my older Nexus 4 is much louder. The Nexus 5 I can barely hear the person on the other end if there is any noise in the room I'm in.

If you really like Moto Actions, I'd keep the Moto XPE. If you can live without those features, this is a great phone so far. Either way you're going to have a great experience, unless Motorola botches an update again.

How is the display calibration compared to the Note 5 ? In the reddit AMA the people from google stated its the same panel and they have worked hard to calibrate it more accurately. I reason for this question is that the Nexus 6 display calibration was horrible - super saturated. The biggest problem with the inaccurate display is that it makes pictures look different on the phone than viewing on the computer or any other device. So, as users we are not able to edit them accurately as well.

I think the screen looks a little on the blue side, but it looks great.

As I will be using mine with Verizon, assuming you did not activate it with them and just put in a Verizon SIM, is there any limit of functionality, i.e. VoLTE, mobile hotspot, etc.

No, if you don't have a fingerprint you're prompted for a pattern (if that's what you set as your backup).

Have you had the opportunity to use it inside a large building yet? Very curious how you found the signal reception to be compared to your previous phones

The N6 was quite slippery. I usually use naked phones, but the N6 was so slippery feeling that I absolutely felt it *required* a case. How about the N6P? Pulling it out of your pocket, does it feel stable in your hand, or does it feel like you're about to drop it every time?

It's got a grip to it, but I still prefer having a case on it (and I don't say that often).

Is the N6P encrypted by default(I know Google has said all future devices would but they've been known to back off their ideas in the past)? Since it's an amoled, does it have Ambient display?

Have you used headphones with it yet? If so, how is the audio from the headphone jack?

Sorry, one last question. Are the Nexus letters on the back glued on? I've replaced my N6 back twice now because letters fell off.
