Since I haven't seen this confirmed or denied in this thread: Is the notification LED inside the speaker grill again? This made the notifications barely readable on the M7.

It had been answered. But: it is in the speaker grill. It is prominent. You won't miss it.

I have to know, do the headphones come with the T-Mobile version? I think I remember last year they were the only carrier to exclude it and I'm not sure why. Really frustrating.

The T-Mobile version does not come with earbuds, so no change there from T-Mo... At least we get all the stock apps, unlike Verizon...

It is in the speaker grills and its more visible according to reviews I've read and people's experiences here in the forums. I didn't think to check this while playing with it in store, so I can't confirm for sure

Does the notification LED still only flash for 5 minutes after the notification? It would be nice if that was adjustable.

Does the phone get warm while charging? Never experienced this on my iPhones but unfortunately this was the case on the M7.

Hey are they ever gonna fix the on screen buttons. They stick on you tube in full screen mode and when I play games sometimes. I mean what's the point in this bigger screen when the on screen button make it the same size during videos and gaming? Sometimes they dissapear on you tube though. When I twist the phone sideways a few times .

I have only noticed warmth while charging if I'm using another intensive process. GPS, streaming Play Music and charging for the phone warm.

When I used one, the screen buttons were self-hiding on most apps I used (incl youtube). If you touch the screen, they pop back up. I didn't get the impression that they were ever stealing realestate, except on the home screen.

are you able to set custom ringtones and text tones to individual contacts?

In YouTube and other apps, try double-tapping the screen. If you double-tap once, they will disappear. Double-tap again and the bar stays but the buttons fade out like on Nexus devices. Double-tap again and the buttons disappear. This seems pretty consistent across video apps like YouTube, Netflix, etc.

If the app doesn't suppoprt immersive mode, the buttons/bar will always be present.

Ringtones, yes. Text tones, I don't think I've ever seen that option. I thinks it's the same tone for all text messages received.

You can set individual text tones with some third party text apps. My preference has always been Ringo PRO. You can set the individual tones, length, vibration intensity and more.
